Throwback Work of Whimsy owl on mushroom figurine: This older piece from my studio’s archives is made of paper clay and sits on a vintage child’s tin tea set plate. Before I learned to mold my own sculptures, I sculpted in paper clay and waited for the pieces to dry before painting them. Now, I sculpt in wax and mold my own pieces. It’s been a fun learning process. This piece will be signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity in a box, making it a great gift or storage option.
