All in a Winter's Evening

During a beautiful, mild winter evening, my son Ben, our dog Baxter and I climbed into the Mini and headed to our favorite lake. Baxter was so excited to get to go for a car ride and to check out a new place!

A beautiful doe was not skittish at all, she actually seemed interested in us.

We came across a group of five or six does.

Ben took this at the lake. I think I may have a budding photographer on my hands.

This was taken by my son Benjamin, he is learning to use my camera. We chased this sunset! We drove around until we found a good view of the sunset! I think Ben did a great job!

This was taken from the car on the way home. The clouds were stunning and the silhouettes of the trees were striking.

I heard recently on the news that Kansas has sunsets that rival any around the world. I have to say that I am loving the ones that I am getting to experience!
